Carnival's Four New FunPacks Bundle Drinks, WiFi and Dining, From $25 to $99 a Day

Carnival Cruise Line has launched FunPacks, four bundles priced per person, per day: Kidstarter at $25 (ages 3-17 only), Zero Proof at $50, Social at $60 and Epic at $99. Each combines a drink package with WiFi, plus perks such as shore excursion or dining discounts, depending on the tier. They must be booked online from October 13 through October 30, 2026, for sailings departing October 31, 2026 through December 31, 2027. Carnival says the bundles can save guests up to 35-55% off individual purchases, depending on sailing length and selection. The terms carry caveats, though: if any guest 21 or older buys a FunPack, everyone 21 or older in that stateroom must buy the same one. Unused benefits are non-refundable.
💡 What This Means For You

If you are sailing between October 31, 2026 and December 31, 2027, you have only October 13 to October 30, 2026 to buy a FunPack, and it must be booked online. Before you buy, check who shares your stateroom. Everyone 21 or older must buy the same FunPack, though Kidstarter is exempt. Read the exclusions for Faster to the Fun, Bonsai Teppanyaki and The Chefs Table, and remember that dining and shore excursion choices must be made before sailing.

📝 Mark's Take

My read is that FunPacks are a bundling play, and Christine Duffy calls them Carnival's largest collection of packages to date. The headline savings of up to 35-55% depend on using nearly everything. The stateroom rule is the catch: if one adult buys, every guest 21 or older in the cabin must buy the same pack, so a light drinker is paying $60 or $99 a day regardless. Value is also forfeited quietly. Spend less than the $55 dining cap or the $100 excursion cap and the difference vanishes, and unused Social alcoholic credits expire each day. Kidstarter at $25 for ages 3-17 looks like the cleanest deal for families, since the mandatory-purchase rule does not apply. Carnival has not said whether the October 13-30, 2026 window is a test run, so I would not assume a second chance. I would price my actual daily usage before buying.
